Renovation work for the cover of the novel 1984 by George Orwell.
The cover is based on a scene of the novel with a symbolic imaginary that is deduced from the text. The protagonist is reading a note in a blind spot where he is not observed. ¿What does the note say? This is the question that the viewer has to ask himself and thus generate intrigue and curiosity.
The eyes travel throught two visual paths; one through the character and the other through the window, leading to the title of the novel.
The back cover depicts the coercion of freedom and surveillance imposed in London society through one of the posters that wallpaper the city in Orwell’s novel.
